I’ve been so excited for this coffee since I saw this advent calendar. For the first day we have a coffee from the region Kaffa in Ethiopia, which is the place where we believe is the OG coffee’s origin. In other words, the best way to begin your specialty coffee advent calendar – where it all began.
Every day you get 30 grams of coffee in the satchel which is something I brew with 450 grams of water. It’s a lovely amount of coffee for both me and my girlfriend and every day until the 24th we have a discussion of taste, flavor and feel. A lovely ceremony in the middle of the day until Christmas Eve.
This coffee is pretty light, you will get a lot of fresh citrus flavors, and the most dominant one is bergamot. A wonderful coffee to start the calendar, I’m already looking forward for day 2.
