Day 10 – @Kafferaven Specialty Coffee Advent Calendar
I think that this is actually the first honey processed coffee in their calendar. It’s from Taruzzu in Costa Rica which is something I’m very familiar with.
Honey process is actually something that we often see in Costa Rican coffee, you could almost say that they’re the experts when it comes to honey process. For today’s brew I used my Chemex to get the most clear flavors I can achieve while aslo making the most clean brew.
I got some floral notes but what stood out the most was the cacao flavor and if you’ve seen @kafferaven’s own video, Per said that it has a lot of notes from white fruits and one of them was Lyche. The sweetness can really be described as Lyche, it’s a perfect fit for how the sweetness actually tastes. A great brew for a cold Saturday!
