It’s time for the next semla! Apparently, my scheduled posts didn’t go out as planned, so now we’re in for a bit of a semla frenzy.
I apologize in advance if several posts suddenly pop up in a short time – but then again, can you really have too much semla content? Hope you’re all sticking with me because the hunt for the best semla of 2025 continues!
This post is about semlor from @gamlaorebro. Here, the semlas are made to order, which means they’re always fresh when you get them. It only takes a minute to wait – but it’s absolutely worth it when you get a freshly made semla in your hands.
What really makes this semla special is the roasted almonds, something I personally prefer the most. They add a deeper, slightly caramelized flavor that truly elevates the almond paste. But what stood out the most for me was actually the bun. It had a beautifully textured, slightly rough surface – the kind of perfect crust you only get when baking really good bread.
