Brygghuset Finn – Summer Sour
A proper summer sour. The aroma gives it away immediately: passion fruit, guava, orange, and a touch of light bread in the background. The color is a nice cloudy deep yellow—basically summer in a glass.
The taste follows through—very fruity, with a clear tartness that doesn’t go overboard. Passion fruit leads the way, guava adds some roundness and tropical notes, and there’s that soft, bready base keeping things grounded.
Tried it with a baked potato topped with a rich, creamy filling. The acidity in the beer cut right through the fat and salt without clashing. Not the most complex beer out there, but well-balanced and really well-made.
A sour that’s easy to enjoy, even if you’re not usually into tart beers.
