Gringo Nordic Coffee Roasters – Etiopien Shakiso

Another great bag of coffee from Gringo.  It’s kind of close to how last week’s coffee made me feel while drinking it; the only thing is that it isn’t as acidic as the Kenyan coffee I posted about.

What I mean is that it makes me smile a bit while trying it, it’s just a joy drinking it on its own with a glass of water beside the cup of coffee. I get a lot of mango and pineapple when I cupped the coffee, also some buttery nut flavor, they’ve noted “macadamia nut” on the bag and I kind of agree. It’s really smooth and my favorite way of brewing this has to be with the Aeropress. I went aggressive with 96 degrees and had it steeping for 2½ minutes in total, which gave me a solid and great cup!
